Welcome your guests on the Lobero Esplanade, a beautiful outdoor space in front of the theater.

The Lobero’s exterior entrance was built in 2013 using the original 1922 plans of George Washington Smith and Lutah Maria Riggs. Used as our outdoor lobby, this is where guests can take enjoy concession services and our beautiful view of the mountains.

Use of the Esplanade is included with rental of the theater, or can be rented as an outdoor-only event space.

Amenities

Esplanade rental includes:

  • Concession services for one hour before each peformance
  • Reception Coordinator to support planning needs ($28/hr)
  • Full alcohol license and opportunity to bring in caterer of your choice
  • Visible on Canon Perdido Street and Anacapa Streets with a capacity of 150
