Guide to Renting the Lobero Theatre
Concerts, conferences, film screenings, dance performances, theater, benefits, lectures, graduation ceremonies… all have a home at the Lobero Theatre.
The Lobero Theatre is proud to be home to many of Santa Barbara’s outstanding performing arts organizations, including Opera Santa Barbara, the Flamenco Arts Festival, State Street Ballet and Academy, Santa Barbara Youth Symphony, Santa Barbara Revels, Spirit of Fiesta Auditions, Santa Barbara Gay Men’s Chorus, AHA! Santa Barbara and more. We welcome you to join this prestigious group by renting the Lobero Theatre yourself.
At 604 seats with a charming, historic aesthetic, the Lobero is intimate enough for an acoustic performance or stand-up comedy event, but with ample space and amenities to host theatre, dance and amplified music. We invest regularly in our technical systems, all of which are operated by an experienced Union crew. Ticketing, marketing and technical support are all available. From the moment you walk in the door, you will feel at home.
Santa Barbara embraces this beautiful theatre as their own, with its wealth of historic performances and its long-standing partnerships with the local arts community. The Lobero is known for high quality programs presented in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Consider joining us to experience the magic for yourself.
