The Lobero Theatre is centrally located in downtown Santa Barbara at the corner of Anacapa and Canon Perdido Streets.

- From the North or South, take US 101 to the Carrillo Street exit.
- At the end of the exit ramp, go East (left if from the North, right if from the South) at the traffic light.
- Proceed six blocks and cross State Street. Make the next right turn onto Anacapa Street (one way).
- The Lobero is located one block down on the right with parking available in City lot #9 which is a right turn off Anacapa before reaching Canon Perdido.
- If just dropping off audience members, go to Canon Perdido, turn right and stop at the temporary loading zone directly in front of the theater. We recommend customers not park in front of this zone to make purchases, as Police officers have been known to ticket such occurrences.
Parking is available in City Lot #9, which is a right turn off Anacapa, between Carrillo and Canon Perdido streets. Parking SB has a map of additional parking lots in the downtown area.
To drop off audience members, go to Canon Perdido, turn right and stop at the temporary loading zone (white curb) directly in front of the theater.
This is a no-parking zone. Please be considerate of other patrons and refrain from parking in front of this zone to make ticket purchases.

Good to Know Before You Visit
Bar services open one hour prior to curtain and during intermission. Beverages purchased on-site are allowed into the theater for many of our performances; please check with the box office or posted signs if you are not sure.
Latecomer policies are at the discretion of our artists and may change from show to show. Our ushers will assist you. Patrons who leave their seat during the performance will be admitted back into the auditorium at the discretion of the House Manager. Please take care to return to your seats between songs or during intermission as to not disturb other patrons.
The Lobero does not have a specific dress code. We invite you to come as you are, but please remember, shirt and shoes are required.
Doors open 30 minutes before curtain. If you need to access the restroom or other facilities before the house is open, public restrooms are available near Marshall’s located near City Parking Lot #9.

Tickets purchased online are subject to a web order fee of $3.00 per ticket. Purchase Tickets Online
In Person
Tickets may be purchased at the box office (map) Monday through Friday, 10 am-5 pm. In-person purchases do not incur web, phone or delivery fees. The box office is open two hours prior to any performance. The Lobero Box Office is located adjacent to the front doors of the theater at 33 E. Canon Perdido Street.
Phone
Tickets purchased by phone are subject to a phone order fee of $3.00 per ticket.

The facility fee (usually $7.00 per ticket) applied to all tickets for shows at the Lobero ensures the maintenance and improvement of the Lobero Theatre as a registered California Historic Landmark. The Lobero Theatre Foundation is a nonprofit foundation whose mission is to maintain and operate the historic Lobero Theatre as a performing arts center and cultural asset to the community of Santa Barbara, and to present the highest quality productions in music, dance, and theater.
The Lobero Theatre Foundation is committed to providing you with the most efficient, friendly service possible. In order to accomplish this, a nominal convenience fee will be added to your order to facilitate the handling and delivery of your tickets. Below please find a detailed list of our fees.
- Web Order Fee: $3.00 per ticket ordered online in real-time with our ticketing website.
- Phone Order Fee: $3.00 per ticket ordered over the phone with our telephone operators.
- Delivery Fee: $1.00 per order mailed via USPS.
In all cases, the best available seats will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
All ticket sales are final; we will not issue any returns, refunds or exchanges.
- In the event of a rescheduled show:
- If an event is postponed, the tickets will be honored for the new date of the show.
- If you cannot make the rescheduled date we will accept the tickets back from you and issue a full refund, less convenience charges and delivery fees. Please note: We cannot issue a refund if the tickets are returned more than three months from the originally scheduled performance.
- In the event of a cancelled show which has no rescheduled date:
- A full refund will be issued to the purchaser, less convenience charges and delivery fees.
- If you feel an exception should be made, please contact the Lobero Box Office at (805) 963-0761.
- Will-call tickets may be picked up at any time during business hours (Mon-Fri 10am-5pm).
- Lobero Performances: In cases where the box office is not regularly open for business, the box office will open for will-call pickup two hours prior to the performance.
- Please be prepared to show a picture I.D. upon request.
- Tickets that are requested to be mailed will be sent via United States Postal Service, generally two to three days after the ticket order is placed through the box office, and are subject to a $1 fee per order.
- Tickets will not be mailed for performances less than one week away.
- Tickets for subscription orders may be delayed longer conditional to completion of series subscription orders by the Lobero Box Office.
- Please check your tickets for accuracy upon receipt. If there is any discrepancy or mistake with your ticket order, please call the box office immediately so that we may correct it.
- Please keep your tickets in a safe place.
The most reliable way to purchase legitimate tickets at face value is to begin your search at lobero.org. From time to time, we do release tickets to authorized sellers such as artist fan clubs. If you are ever in doubt about a seller, please call our Box Office at (805) 963-0761.
If you purchase from any other vendor, your tickets may not be valid. If a show is cancelled or postponed, you may not receive proper notification or reimbursement. The Lobero Theatre is not responsible for tickets purchased through vendors other than our website or those sellers that we have authorized.
- None of the Covered Parties are responsible for any errors or delays in responding to an order caused by an incorrect e-mail address or other contact information provided by you or other technical problems beyond their control.
- Submitting an order online indicates your agreement to these terms and conditions.

The Lobero Box Office is located adjacent to the front doors of the theater at 33 E. Canon Perdido Street. There is a wheelchair accessible window available for your convenience.
Accessible parking spaces and an elevator are available on both levels of the adjacent City parking structure, accessed from Anacapa Street (Elevator hrs: M-Sat: 7:30 am – 9 pm; Sun: 9 am – 6 pm). Follow the walkway along Marshall’s to the Canon Perdido sidewalk. Due to the limited lot elevator hours, street parking may be advised. Spaces are located diagonally across from the theater, on Canon Perdido Street next to the U.S. Post Office and one block away on De la Guerra Plaza in front of City Hall. Yellow and green curb spaces are on Canon Perdido in front of the Lobero, in front of El Paseo on Anacapa Street, and next to the US Post Office on Canon Perdido. A private valet lot with limited accessibility, is across Canon Perdido adjacent to El Paseo.
There is an accessible ramp on the left side of the Esplanade when looking at the front of the Lobero Theatre from Canon Perdido St.
There are six wheelchair accessible seats with adjacent companion seating. Additional wheelchair seating may be available in the front section for certain shows. Please call our Box Office at (805) 963-0761 to reserve your accessible seating.
The Women’s and Men’s Restrooms, located in the lobby, are fully accessible. A unisex fully accessible restroom is also located backstage near the dressing rooms, another is near the Rehearsal Hall.
Accessible fountains are in the lobby and in the backstage Green Room.

The Lobero Theatre is equipped with state-of-the-art hearing loop technology. The technology lets hearing aid users receive sound signals directly through their t-coil enabled hearing aids. As most hearing aids include a t-coil as standard, users do not need any additional equipment to access sound in a looped venue.
A Phonic Ear System makes these available at all times for patrons who request them. When possible, patrons should make their device reservation at the Box Office when purchasing advance tickets; this allows for adequate supply to be available. Devices may be picked up from the Box Office up to two hours prior to performance time.
In accordance with California State Law, the Lobero Theatre allows trained service dogs, but not emotional support animals.
Please contact the House Manager; he will assign an attendant who will open the accessible backstage door located up the brick walkway.
Once backstage, (see above for access information), turn left at the first door to access the stage or continue straight ahead to the Green Room. The orchestra pit is equipped with a lift that is accessed from the auditorium floor level.
From outside the theater: Proceed up the Anacapa Street sidewalk around the theater to an automatic access door and push the plate with the wheelchair graphic. Proceed directly ahead to the Rehearsal Hall.
Use the side door leading to Anacapa Street and proceed as noted above.
From the stage, exit through the door on the left of the back wall, turn right through the Scene Dock and enter the Rehearsal Hall through the connecting door.
Proceed up Anacapa Street around the theater to the patio gate at the far right of the Rehearsal Hall entrance
