The facility fee (usually $6.00 per ticket) applied to all tickets for shows at the Lobero ensures the maintenance and improvement of the Lobero Theatre as a registered California Historic Landmark. The Lobero Theatre Foundation is a nonprofit foundation whose mission is to maintain and operate the historic Lobero Theatre as a performing arts center and cultural asset to the community of Santa Barbara, and to present the highest quality productions in music, dance, and theatre.
The Lobero Theatre Foundation is committed to providing you with the most efficient, friendly service possible. In order to accomplish this, a nominal convenience fee will be added to your order to facilitate the handling and delivery of your tickets. Below please find a detailed list of our fees.
In all cases, the best available seats will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
All ticket sales are final; we will not issue any returns, refunds or exchanges.
Bar and Concession services open one hour prior to curtain and during intermission. Drinks and food items purchased on-site are allowed into the theater for many of our performances; please check with the box office or posted signs if you are not sure.
Silence your phone and any other noise-making devices, and avoid using bright screens during performances.
We want you to remember this moment, so we welcome you to take pictures and videos in our lobby spaces and share online. (Remember to tag us @loberotheatre!) Recording and photography of a performance in the theatre is prohibited.
Latecomers or patrons who leave their seat during the performance will be admitted back into the auditorium at the discretion of the House Manager. Please take care to return to your seats between songs or during intermission as to not disturb other patrons.
Events at the Lobero are presented by a wide variety of producers, and offer different discounting opportunities. Please consult the event listing, or contact the box office with any questions about what is currently offered.
We recommend allowing enough time to park, secure your belongings and walk to the theater before the beginning of your ticketed event. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain.
The Lobero does not have its own designated parking lot, and is not responsible for late arrivals, or other inconveniences incurred while at the theater.
The Lobero does not have a specific dress code. We invite you to come as you are, but please remember, shirt and shoes are required.
Doors open 30 minutes before curtain. If you need to access the restroom or other facilities before the house is open, public restrooms are available near the Marshall’s located near City Parking Lot #9.
We are #BYOBottle Friendly!
You’re welcome to bring your own Lobero reusable pint cup or water bottle to fill at our water stations and use while you are at the theater. We’ll also fill Santa Barbara Bowl pint cups, because we are committed to reducing our concert footprint.

The Lobero Theatre is equipped with state-of-the-art hearing loop technology. The technology lets hearing aid users receive sound signals directly through their t-coil enabled hearing aids. As most hearing aids include a t-coil as standard, users do not need any additional equipment to access sound in a looped venue.
A Phonic Ear System makes these available at all times for patrons who request them. When possible, patrons should make their device reservation at the Box Office when purchasing advance tickets; this allows for adequate supply to be available. Devices may be picked up from the Box Office up to two hours prior to performance time.
It is the prerogative of organizations presenting at the Lobero Theatre to have their performances interpreted in sign language, audio-described, or open-captioned. Please contact the presenting organization directly for such services. The Box Office will provide contact information.
In accordance with California State Law, the Lobero Theatre allows trained service dogs, but not emotional support animals.
Please contact the House Manager; he will assign an attendant who will open the accessible backstage door located up the brick walkway.
