Join Elemental Arts, Selah Dance Collective, & Paper Doll Militia as over 40 artists come together to tell a story through aerial, circus, & dance in this one night only Circus Theater Production!
In the summertime, we roam through lush fields. But in the dry fall heat, a wildfire sweeps the landscape. In the harsh of winter we sift through the withering flowers. As we feel the fragments of petals, we navigate our bodies’ natural survival responses; fight, flight, freeze and fawn.
But why do these emotions seem so negative? Even in shared experience, we process differently. We move in unique ways, but like wildflowers blooming through the ashes of a forest fire, we have the power to rise again.
Over 40 artists from Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Vegas, & abroad come together to create a two hour theater show like no other.
*Special Guest Announcement!*
Prequel by Circus with Purpose and renown aerial theater pioneers, Paper Doll Militia. The debut of their new work “Homeostasis”
An aerial sculpture & performance piece fusing the visual design of Shibari with contemporary aerial arts. The apparatus is a large-scale visual interpretation of the human nervous system, constructed entirely with rope. This tree-like apparatus becomes an elaborate structure for aerial performers exploring dysregulation and resilience on personal and societal levels.

Through play and creativity, we forge cross cultural connections that transcend borders, uniting international artists and teachers with the remarkable Social Circus Teachers of Nicaragua.
