Pedal Born Pictures presents

Cycling Without Age

Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 6 PM
Lobero Theatre

About the Event

There is something about riding a bike that makes you feel like a kid again. All too often, we lose touch with that magic as we get older. Cycling Without Age follows the story of John Seigel-Boettner and his team of pedal-powered rickshaw pilots as they bring that magic back to those who have lost the ability to ride themselves. The film presents a unique portrait of aging, asking audiences to consider the importance of the outdoors for those who are all too often trapped inside.

This West Coast Premiere will be followed by a panel discussion about this paradigm-shifting program with John, filmmakers Isaac Seigel-Boettner and Jacob Seigel Brielle, and local leaders in the aging community. After the panel, come check out a trishaw and enjoy delicious food and drink in the Lobero Courtyard for a post-screening reception (open to all VIP ticket holders). All proceeds from this event will benefit the Santa Barbara chapter of the global Cycling Without Age movement.
